This Mettlach tea/coffee set would be a wonderful addition to your arts and crafts pottery collection. All pieces feature a unique art deco style with an elderberry blossom motif. The pieces have a matte glazing with colors of beige, white, and vibrant blue. All pieces are in mint condition and have no cracks or repairs of any sort. 

  • The first larger milk pitcher is 6 1/4" tall and 2 1/4" in diameter. The Mettlach castle logo is inscribed on the bottom, along with the word "Mettlach", "VB", "Ges Gesch", and the number "2947" along with the roman numeral "IV". Circa 1904.
  • The second larger milk pitcher is 5 1/2" tall and 2 1/4" in diameter. The Mettlach castle logo is inscribed on the bottom, along with the word "Mettlach", "VB", "Ges Gesch", "Made in Germany", and the number "2947" along with the roman numeral "V". Circa 1914.
  • The smaller pitcher is 4 1/2" in height and has a 1 3/4" base. The Mettlach castle logo is inscribed on the bottom, along with the word "Mettlach", "VB", and the number "2947" along with the roman numeral "IV". Circa 1909.
  • The teapot is 6" tall, base diameter of 3 3/4". The Mettlach castle logo is inscribed on the bottom, as well as "Mettlach VB", "Ges Gesch", the number "2946" and roman number II. Circa 1907.
  • The sugar bowl stands at 4" tall, with a base diameter of 3". The Mettlach castle logo is inscribed on the bottom, as well as "Mettlach VB", "Ges Gesch", "REG. US. PAT. OFF", "Made In Germany", and the number "2948". Circa 1916.
