This is a gorgeous Tiffany Favrile Iridescent open dish or finger bowl, made around 1900. (Favrile was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894, setting the standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the century.)

This Tiffany Favrile Iridescent bowl has a gracefully scalloped upper edge and ribbed design. What makes it outstanding is its incredible depth and range of color. The vibrant iridescent glass body has striking highlights that move effortlessly from blue to gold and green with the light, with a striking blue base. It is a fine example of Tiffany Favrile and a spectacular and interesting piece.  2.5″ tall by 8″ wide.

It bears the signature “L. C. Tiffany, Favrile, 2340”.
